the pub food had a great taste and portion sizes were adequate.
The room lacked proper sound insulation. I clearly heard conversations from adjacent rooms, and i experienced disturbances from late-night arrivals.

the room was basic, but comfortable and the decking was a bonus
the room was cold when i got there because of open windows. i could hear conversations in the next room very clearly, the sound insulation wasn't good. people woke me up when they came into their rooms late at night.

I found the staff very cute. my room was clean and well-finished, i thought it was a quiet location. the food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. The parking was big enough and free.
I thought the grounds could use a cleanup. I saw some rubbish near the kitchen door and a catering trailer.

Check-in was quick and easy! and checkout was even easier. Chilled water was provided free of charge. The pub had a lovely ambience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant offered a good variety of choices and felt very family-friendly.
The room was cold upon entry, I think because the windows were open.

The staff were excellent. The service was great and I felt very welcome. The prices for food and drink are great, and the Sunday roast was really good. There was also a fantastic choice of lagers, beers, and ciders.

the bed linen and towels were pristine. they seemed like hotel quality. tea and coffee supplies were plentiful. the staff was very friendly.
the hotel was very busy because of a function. the room was too noisy to keep the window open. bottles were emptied into a bin overnight (i could hear everything).

the pub offered really good food and a varied menu. a communal refrigerator was available for guest use. staff members were friendly and provided helpful service.
i noticed poor sound insulation between the room and corridor. i could hear conversations from the next room quite clearly. this woke me up when people entered their rooms late at night.
